MINISTRIES OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ Is Our-
Advocate: My little children, these things
write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1).
All
And In All: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ
is all, and in all (Col 3:11).
Apostle And High Priest: Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider
the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus (Heb 3:1).
Author And Finisher Of Our Faith: Looking unto Jesus theauthor [captain, chief leader, prince] and finisher [completer, perfecter] of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured
the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb 12:2).
Bridegroom: And Jesus said
unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom
shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast (Mat 9:15).
Chief Corner Stone: And are built upon the foundation of the apostles
and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone (Eph 2:20).
Christ: Let Christ the King of Israel descend now
from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him (Mark 15:32).
Desire Of All Nations:And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts (Hag
2:7).
Emmanuel [God With Us]: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23).
Ensign [Banner, Standard Bearer] Of The People: And in that
day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall
be glorious (Isa 11:10).
Friend: The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber,
a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children (Mat 11:19).
Head: But speaking the truth in love,
may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Eph 4:15).
Head Of The Church: For the husband is the head
of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body (Eph 5:23).
High Priest: Whither the
forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec (Heb 6:20).
Horn Of Salvation:And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (Luke 1:69).
Jesus Christ: Peter, an apostle
of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia (1 Peter 1:1).
Judge:And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and
dead (Acts 10:42).
King: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee:
he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass (Zec 9:9).
Lamb Of God: The
next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29).
Leader
And Commander: Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people (Isa 55:4).
Lily Of
The Valleys: I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys (Son 2:1).
Logos [What is said, the Divine Expression]: In
the beginning was the Word [logos], and the Word [logos] was with God, and the Word [logos] was God (John 1:1).
Lord: That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved (Romans 10:9).
Master: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren (Matthew
23:8).
Messenger Of The Covenant: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom
ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the
LORD of hosts (Mal 3:1).
Our Righteousness: In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his
name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jer 23:6).
Pledge Of A Better Covenant: By so much was Jesus made
a surety [pledge] of a better testament (Heb 7:22).
Propitiation [Atoning Sacrifice] For Our Sins: And he is the propitiation for
our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).
Shepherd [Pastor] And Bishop [Overseer]Of Our Souls: For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherdand Bishop of your souls (1 Peter 2:25).
Son
Of God: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:1).
Son Of Man: But that ye may know that the Son
of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house (Matthew
9:6).

and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables"
(2 Timothy 4:2-4).
WHERE SIN ABOUNDED, GRACE DID
MUCH MORE ABOUND
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so
death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is
no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression,
who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many
be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as
it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto
justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment cameupon all men to condemnation;
even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many
were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound.
But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness
unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord”
(Romans 5:12-21).
HE SHALL GROW UP BEFORE HIM AS
A TENDER PLANT
"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For
he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall
see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our
sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for
our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not
his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of
the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD
shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant
justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil
with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of
many, and made intercession for the transgressors"
(Isaiah 53:1-12).
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which
ye have learned; and
avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly;
and by good words
and fair speeches deceive
the hearts
of the simple"
(Romans 16:17-18).
